2008 Cover Image: ———————— Welcome to JERSEY SHORE PUBLICATIONS ONLINE, the internet version of our popular publications about Ocean and Monmouth Counties at the Jersey Shore. 2008 marks our twenty-fifth year of publishing magazines, guidebooks, maps, internet sites, and beautiful books about the Jersey Coast. Currently featured is the fall/holiday issue of our flagship publication, JERSEY SHORE Magazine, which is also published in the spring. In addition to "JERSEY SHORE," we also publish our summer guidebooks and maps, JERSEY SHORE Vacation Magazine, the JERSEY SHORE Vacation Map, and LONG BEACH ISLAND Vacation Guidebook & Map, your guides to sun and fun in Ocean and Monmouth counties at the Jersey Shore. Our publications and this website are designed to bring you a wealth of information to help make life more enjoyable “down the Shore.” If you're a local resident or a long-time visitor, you may find things you haven't discovered or be reminded of offerings you may have forgotten. When using these resources, you'll find a myriad of information to make your time at the Shore more rewarding and exciting. Valente (b. 1961) has been publishing magazines, guidebooks, maps, internet sites, and books about the Jersey Shore and New Jersey. He graduated from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with a B.A. in English in 1983 and began his publishing career in 1984. He is the founder, editor, and publisher of Jersey Shore Publications, a publishing house based in Bay Head, New Jersey. Over the decades, his ground-breaking, unique, and original concepts, magazines, and books have influenced dozens of publishers and publications that have come after, and he is one of the foremost publishers of magazines and books about the Jersey Shore. He lives on the Metedeconk River at the foot of Barnegat Bay with his wife, Jane, and three children, Sarah, Anna, and Christopher. |
